Since our birth back in 1994 – selling toner cartridges – we have always aimed to treat customers as we would want to be treated ourselves, with courtesy, respect and understanding. Courtesy. Today we offer clients, old and new, a personalised, professional and human approach to deploying servers, data storage and networking as well as supplying run-rate items such as PCs, peripherals and supplies. We offer a full range of services, including VMware Capacity Planner, network analysis, server consolidation and data storage performance and requirements. Our biggest asset is our people, many of whom have worked for us for over a decade. All clients have a dedicated relationship manager to service day-to-day requirements such as desktops, printers, supplies and peripherals. In addition, we have teams of server, storage, networking and licensing specialists as well as having exceptional support from key vendors due to our high level of accreditations.
As well as being one of only eleven Hewlett Packard Converged Infrastructure specialists in the UK, Port-P is accredited by IBM, VMware, Cisco, Microsoft, EMC, Symantec and many more. This means we can offer a wide range of world class infrastructure solutions integrating storage, server and networking components with simple, single pane of glass, management. Whether you may be considering replacing one server, adding disk drives or planning a complete infrastructure refresh, we would like to help.
Our internal systems are advanced as we are connected to all approved HP supplies distributors in the UK electronically. This allows us to monitor price and stock of every IT products available in the UK. Port-P does not stock product as we have always delivered directly from distribution to clients as:

1. If a product is in stock in any distributor in the UK we can deliver it on a next day basis (this can also be same day in some geographical locations) meaning that we fulfil orders faster than competitors who stock products themselves.
2. As we have no stock, our overheads are lower meaning that we can operate on slimmer margins. We have no warehouses, money invested in stock and lower logistic costs as we deliver direct.
3. Because we monitor the cost price available from distribution we buy at the cheapest available price and then apply the agreed discount for the client, passing the further saving to the client because we have auctioned every order.
4. We offer to work on an agreed cost plus basis with clients on run-rate items allowing the client to audit our cost and sell prices at any time.
While our offices are in Birmingham and Manchester, we have engineering and sales functions that cover the whole of the mainland UK. In addition, Port-P has demonstration facilities in London and Birmingham that allow you to explore the benefits of proposed solutions and learn more about the latest Industry advances.
