SMUD is requesting bids to establish a three-year agreement with a one or more office furniture suppliers to support SMUD Facilities staff with a reliable and continuous supply of office chairs.   

The principal objective of this procurement is the vendor’s ability to deliver quality office furniture to SMUD in an expeditious and efficient manner at the most economical overall cost to SMUD.  The vendor will be expected to manage orders to several different delivery locations including SMUD’s main warehouse and various office buildings and residential locations.  The vendor will also be expected to coordinate the return, repair and replacement of any defective office furniture in an expeditious manner.  This repair process should be outlined in section 4.4 (General Bid Data).  

SMUD’s estimate for this contract is $500,000.
