2022 Fence Construction and Repair Services

SCOPE:  

The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to install new fencing, install new gates, and make fence additions, repairs or changes to various SMUD fences. The work generally consists of:  

1. Construction of 4’, 6’, and 8’ high chain link fences.  

2. Repair of existing chain link fences  

3. Furnish, installation and removal of temporary chain link fences, either stand alone or with driven posts.  

4. Construction and repair of different types of fence gates   

5. Installation of fence toppings on new or existing fences, including “V” arms with 4 strands of barbed wire and razor ribbon.  

6. Construction of isolation panels.  

7. Construction of 6’ and 8’ redwood fences.  

8. Fabrication and installation of powder coated steel topping for CMU or concrete walls.  

9. Installation of security panels.  

10. Miscellaneous adjustments, repairs, and part replacements, on existing fences.
