Posting Summary

The purpose of this bid announcement is to identify prospective suppliers that have the capacity to satisfy The Ohio State University’s need to solicit information from qualified individuals, partners, corporations, joint ventures or other third party developers to develop an aviation related facility/facilities. The University is seeking to create a public-private partnership that will maximize long-term revenues for both parties and generate economic benefit for the University and surrounding communities.    
The ideal team will have expertise in real estate development strategy, marketing, airport development, leasing and property management, real estate economics, financing, public partnerships, cost estimating, architectural design, engineering, and construction.   
This RFQ is issued as a means of discovery and information gathering. This RFQ is for planning purposed only and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the University and/or Airport to enter into any lease agreements. The University may utilize the results of this RFQ in drafting a competitive solicitation, a Request for Proposals (RFP) for development opportunities listed below.

The Ohio State University will conduct a Non-Mandatory Pre-Submittal Meeting and Site Tour on Monday, January 23rd from 10am to noon EST, in the Classroom of the Airport Administration Building at The Ohio State University Airport –Don Scott Field; 2160 West Case Road, Columbus, Ohio 43235. It is strongly recommended that interested parties attend the pre-submittal meeting to familiarize themselves with the Airport and sites available.    
Prospective respondents may ask questions during the Pre-Submittal meeting and reasonable efforts will be made to accurately memorialize any such questions and respond to them in an Addendum. The Airport encourages a representative from those interested to attend in person or join via conference call – instructions below:
