This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Province of Nova Scotia (the “Province”) on behalf of the Department of Community Services (“DCS”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals to establish a standing offer for the provision of Disability Supports Program (“DSP”) Priority Work, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). This RFP is being conducted pursuant to the Nova Scotia Sustainable Procurement Policy and Procurement Manual.      
     

DCS intends to solicit proposals to select a long-term partner for project support related to the DSPs Transformation initiatives. While only one project is outlined in this RFP, the intention is to form a partnership to aid in implementing future opportunities and commitments as they arise. DCS has a portfolio of projects under the DSP portfolio of work and is committed to the continued improvement and evolvement of our programs and services to best meet the needs for Nova Scotians.
